We are Centrally Located On The Massachusetts Shoreline. Easy access via Route 95 from New York; Rhode Island; Boston and Massachusetts; Connecticut; New Hampshire; Vermont and Maine.
By Road: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to Interstate 95, Route 128 (exit 15, signed North, New Hampshire, Maine and Waltham). Go North on 128 to exit 14 signed Route 133, Gloucester. Drive East down Route 133 until you see the ocean ahead of you it intersects with Route 127 and you can't go any further forwards. Turn right onto Route 127 which is also called Western Avenue or Stacey Boulevard. The ocean will be to your left, a triangle of grass to your right. 1 Kent Circle is at the tip of grass triangle on your right. The anchor and ocean are on your left. If you go to the tennis courts you've gone too far.
By "T": The T provides commuter rail (the purple line) directly from North Station in Boston to either the West Gloucester or Gloucester Station. You may then call your hosts (282 1505 or 282 4546) for pickup or wave down any local CATA bus (see below). The T is the largest transit authority in Boston. It has 4 letter and color coded subway lines and also many bus lines. For example Logan airport is on the Blue Line. To reach Gloucester from Logan is a little tedious but inexpensive. Take the Blue Line to State then the Orange Line to North Station and catch the commuter rail to Gloucester. The commuter rail runs to Boston via Beverly, Salem and Lynn from where Express Buses to Boston are available. The commuter rail also serves other North Shore towns such as Newburyport, Manchester, and Rockport.
